I am currently in my third year of the BA MT Course at New College Lanarkshire, with plans to stay on for my Honours Year. In my three years at NCLan I have recieved training in a wide range of acting techniques, as well as the Estill singing technique (Levels 1 & 2). I have also been trained in jazz, contemporary and ballet styles of dance. I have performed in 3 musicals with the college, and most recently performed in my BA Showcase in front of industry professionals.
Outside of college I have vested a lot of time into my skills as a musician. I have been playing the violin from an early age, up to grade 6 level. I recently achieved my grade 8 piano qualification which I am very proud of. I have worked a lot over the past few years to become confident with singing while playing. I am a piano and violin tutor at a local music school in East Kilbride. As well as music, I also have an interest in writing short plays, songs and poetry.
Rehearsals are underway for NCLan's BA production of the musical 'Alice By Heart', in which I am playing the lead role of Alice. The show will run from the 6th - 11th of May 2024.
